A leading energy company in the UK is hiring a Senior Commercial and Contract Manager to oversee contract management for the North Sea Link interconnector. The role involves leading a team, managing compliance, and advising on best practices. It offers a salary between £65,000 - £75,000 with bonuses and flexible benefits. The position can be based in Warwick or near Newcastle, with hybrid working options available.
National Grid Interconnectors is at the heart of UK's transition to our net zero energy future. We operate a number of HVDC Interconnectors that connect the UK's energy system to some of our closest neighbours, allowing energy to be imported to and exported from the UK.
As well as already owning a portfolio of HVDC Interconnectors, we're working on developing new projects to ensure that we are able to meet the UK's future demands for greener energy solutions.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial and Contract Manager to support our NSL (North Sea Link) site near Newcastle.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the commercial contracting strategy for the NSL interconnector. You'll be advising various teams on best practice in Contract Management. You will also be supporting the development of our contract management maturity as we look to improve how we manage our supply chain across our portfolio, this will involve working on a wide range of inter-team and business improvement projects as part of your day-to-day role.
This role comes with direct line management of a Senior Contract Support Analyst, as well as wider leadership responsibilities for the Contract Management Team.

This role can be based at our office in Warwick or on site near Newcastle. The role is Hybrid and you can split your time between site and home. There will be travel to site required within the role so you must have a full UK driving licence for this role.
A competitive salary between £65,000 - £75,000 per annum dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
