Qualifications

  • NMC Registration.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Post‑registration nursing experience in oncology at Band 6 or above.
  • Desirable: experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate skin cancer care.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate advanced nursing care.
  • Lead the development and review of policies for skin cancer management.
  • Provide information and support to patients and carers.
  • Deliver informal and formal teaching to nursing staff.
  • Contribute to the training of nursing staff.
