Job summary

A consultancy firm is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to support a well-established client in the manufacturing of precision components across multiple industries. The role involves creating programs using HYPERMILL software and managing the milling section. Candidates should have experience in CADCAM and ideally come from an aerospace background. This position offers a standard working week from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working with CADCAM.
• Experience within a senior/management role.
• Previous work in aerospace environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create offline programs using HYPERMILL software.
• Set and prove out machines for Operators.
• Organise workflow.
• Manage cycle times, BOMs, and planning.

Overview

NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a Senior CNC Programmer to join a well establisted client. Our client specialises within the manufacturing of precision components within many industries such as:

• Aerospace
• Automotive
• Oil and Gas
• Defence

Due to substantial investment, they are looking for a programmer to take over the milling section.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Create offline programs using HYPERMILL software
• Set and prove out machines in preparation for the Operators to run
• Organise work flow
• Manage cycle times, BOMs and planning of the section

Experience Required

• Hypermill experience (preferred)
• 3,4 and 5 axis programming and machining capabilities
• Previously worked in an aerospace environment (desirable)
• 3+ years working with CADCAM
• Experience within a senior/management role
