A leading children's health organization in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join their CAMHS team. You will provide psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people in a multi-disciplinary setting. Candidates with varying experience levels are encouraged to apply. Fixed Term: 9 months (October 2025-July 2026) | 37.5 hrs per week
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our inpatient CAMHS team at the Becton Centre, providing specialist care to young people with complex mental health needs across three inpatient units: Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby Lodge.
You will:
Deliver psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people, contributing to their psychological care and treatment.
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, including Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and other therapeutic disciplines.
Receive support from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with access to a network of professionals and opportunities for professional development, CPD, and cross-training within the Trust's child services.
We are open to applications from recently qualified or soon-to-be qualified Clinical Psychologists as well as those with more experience whom we will consider offering the post to at 8A level.

Reporting into the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver direct clinical work (individual, parent, and group therapy) and contribute to the therapeutic milieu.
Lead team formulations and interventions, working with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient care.
Conduct assessments and contribute to the formulation and treatment of children with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
Support the stabilisation and discharge process, working with families and carers to facilitate positive change.
Collate information for specialist assessments, including neurodevelopmental considerations.
Provide clinical leadership, promoting collaboration with colleagues, families, young people, and community partners.
