A healthcare organization is seeking a passionate Senior Clinical Nurse to join its multdisciplinary team in Fulbourn. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Nurse Band 6 who is enthusiastic and passionate for assessment and proactive care to join our multidisciplinary Adult inpatient team, based at the Fulbourn site in Cambridge.
The post holder will assist the Clinical Nurse Specialist/Ward Manager in providing clinical leadership and act as a clinical role model to the 24-hour inpatient team. They will deputise as directed by the Clinical Nurse Specialist/Ward Manager in their absence and provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting. The post holder will work with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Ward Manager to set, maintain and audit clinical standards in line with local and national priorities. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation governing current service provision.
They will identify and contribute to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff, ensuring that issues of equality, diversity and rights are addressed in accordance with good practice and legislation. They will ensure effective communication pathways exist and that they act within their sphere of responsibility.
