Qualifications

  • Physiotherapy degree and HCPC registration are essential.
  • CSP membership is required.
  • Experience in Urgent Care Response and/or Intermediate Care is necessary.
  • Strong clinical experience working with complex rehabilitation and older adults is essential.
  • Experience supporting junior staff is valuable.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and clinical reasoning skills are required.
  • Must be confident with IT systems and digital documentation.
  • Commitment to professional development and evidence‑based practice is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the physiotherapy function, ensuring high‑quality patient‑centred care.
  • Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation for complex cases.
  • Oversee physiotherapy staff and resources.
  • Support senior managers as required.
  • Contribute to service development and clinical standards.
  • Support and develop colleagues through supervision and mentoring.
