Senior Clinicial Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
Fixed Term, Full-time 40 hours per week. Nodal Point 4/5 dependant upon experience. Start date: 5 January 2026.
The Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Department at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital offers a tertiary Children’s Orthopaedic Service for South London and surrounding counties. The hospital also provides paediatric trauma, a neonatal developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) screening service and a Ponseti clinic. The fellowship attracts Royal College and PMETB training approval. Specialist tertiary services include management of adolescent hip problems, a developing paediatric knee injury service, limb deformity service, skeletal dysplasia, spina bifida and an extensive neurodisability service with gait laboratory support.
The postholder will, under the supervision of relevant consultants, be responsible for the provision of orthopaedic service to the Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital Trust. This will include:

The Trust comprises two of London’s oldest teaching hospitals with a long history, dating back almost 900 years, and a reputation for excellence and innovation.
You will join a team of 5 Consultants, 2 Specialist Registrars and 3 specialist orthopaedic nurses, and you will be expected to provide an elective orthopaedic and trauma service in conjunction with colleagues. You will participate in clinical and service activities to ensure a high standard of patient care, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training, and help manage the clinical service and service development. The department supports developing your area(s) of clinical interest within a flexible framework.
The fellowship is a 6-month appointment (note: other parts of the advert reference 7- or 12-month appointments; this should be confirmed with the recruiting team).
