About The Role

Business Development Manager – Slough/Burnham

  • Location: Slough/Burnham, Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
  • Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Package: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + incentive-based rewards

As a Business Development Manager, you will lead engagements with established customers to grow revenue streams and achieve set targets. You’ll act as a positive role model within the team, consistently delivering excellence in client relationships and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Growth: Manage and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to increase QA’s share of wallet.
  • Prospecting: Identify and engage new stakeholders within existing accounts to expand product footprint and revenue.
  • Client Engagement: Lead meetings to understand client needs and deliver tailored, impactful solutions.
  • Commercial Leadership: Drive strategic discussions, prepare quotes and proposals, and produce high-quality documentation for client approval.
  • Data-Driven Sales: Analyse market data and sales information to prioritise your pipeline and maximise financial performance.
  • CRM Utilisation: Maintain accurate records and build client intelligence within the CRM system.
  • Account Planning: Develop robust, progressive account plans aimed at diversifying engagement and revenue streams.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
  • Product Expertise: Build deep knowledge of the product portfolio to ensure accurate market positioning.
  • Solution Design: Create innovative, high-level solutions to meet client needs, occasionally leading bid teams with Subject Matter Experts.
