Overview

Senior Civil Engineer – Newcastle – £45K-£55K plus benefits. We are working with an award-winning national consultancy with an enviable reputation within the industry. The Newcastle office is seeking an experienced senior civil engineer whose responsibilities will include delegating work to others and mentoring less experienced staff.

Their sector and client base is varied, but the most important experience is roads and drainage design you can bring with you.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work to others and mentor less experienced staff.
• Manage a high workload while providing sound advice and guidance to your team.
• Provide practical, efficient and innovative solutions to engineering problems.
• Oversee projects to successful delivery, managing resource and budget constraints.
• Be confident in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Consultancy experience on major drainage projects.
• Knowledge and experience of industry standard software including PDS, WinDes and Civils 3D.
• Sound judgement and management abilities.
• Experience in delivering projects successfully and in managing resources and budgets.
