Senior Citrix VDI Engineer

Fully Onsite in London (EC2Y/Moorgate) – International Banking Group.

£726.43 pd Inside IR35 – 01/01/26 to 31/08/26.

You’ll join a dynamic third-line team working across Citrix VDI, NetScaler, Windows, and user workspace technologies. You’ll help design, deliver, and support modern workspace solutions while driving service optimisation and sharing knowledge in a collaborative, open culture. Hybrid/remote working and competitive salary/rate available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 3rd line support, BAU, and project-based work for Citrix and virtual desktop environments
• Produce and maintain detailed technical and design documentation
• Lead by example in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and user workspace incidents
• Drive service improvements and capacity recommendations
• Enable successful project delivery from planning to execution
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and vendors
• Share specialist knowledge with junior colleagues and wider teams
• Operate under ITIL standards (Incident, Problem, Change)

Key Skills & Requirements

• Specialist knowledge of Citrix (multiple versions, NetScaler, Virtual Apps & Desktops)
• Windows 10/11 and application packaging/streaming expertise
• Experience supporting large-scale server infrastructure and VDI platforms
• Technical ownership of project delivery and service improvement
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Degree or relevant certifications (MCSE, CCA, ITIL advantageous)
• Desirables: Ivanti UWM, FSLogix, Office 365, vendor management, experience in high-pressure environments
