Job summary

A specialist provider of care for children is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team and ensure high standards of care in a children's home. The role requires at least 2 years of senior-level experience in a children's home, as well as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare. This challenging position involves managing operations, safeguarding concerns, and liaising with various professionals to support children with emotional and behavioral needs. A full UK driving licence is also essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a children's home setting at a senior level within the last five years.
• Willingness to apply to Ofsted for Registered Manager's status.
• Experience of working with children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and lead a dedicated team to promote children's welfare.
• Manage child protection and safeguarding concerns.
• Liaise with Local Authorities and health professionals.
