With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, we are seeking a Senior chartered quantity or building surveyor with quantity surveying and project management / contract administration skills and a good understanding of safety management under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and the Building Safety Act to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview

As a Senior Chartered Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of major construction projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring value for money, cost control, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for complex projects
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation and procurement strategies
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering
  • Building surveying and reporting
  • Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to team development
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
  • MRICS Chartered status is essential
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with a strong track record in senior roles
