Overview

An exciting development opportunity has arisen to lead our fantastic team within Ward 6, Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. Ward 6 has 22 inpatient beds. We provide ongoing assessment and rehabilitation for our older population. The post holder will, as part of the multidisciplinary team, contribute to the delivery of rehabilitative care to support and manage patients through their rehabilitation journey towards discharge planning. We are looking for a highly motivated, caring and hard-working Registered Nurse to become the Senior Charge Nurse and be part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the maintenance of clinical standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to the Nursing team through support, development, supervision and education.
  • Work collaboratively with all health and social care partners to deliver against national standards and drive person-centred care.
  • Support the delivery of rehabilitative care and contribute to discharge planning for patients in Ward 6.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in an elderly or medical setting and the knowledge and skills to lead, motivate and develop staff within the service.
  • A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven professional development with positive examples.
  • Registered Nurse with the ability to provide clinical leadership.
