Relief Senior Carer

Location: Farnham Common, Near Slough, Buckinghamshire, SL2 3HU

Pay rate: £13.90 per hour

Contracted hours: Relief

Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager and lead a team of carers to deliver outstanding care to residents.
  • Plan and implement care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Manage time between supporting the team and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.

About You

You’ll have previous experience of working in a residential care setting with a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. You might have previous supervisory experience, such as delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters and 1 to 1s, but this is not essential. What is important is that you are a positive role model with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. You are supportive, able to motivate others to deliver the best possible care, confident taking charge and able to use your initiative to resolve problems and address queries.
