Senior Care Assistant (BER00EW) – East Yorkshire HU9 4UW. Permanent, full time and part time contracts available. CQC rating: Good. Salary: £12.40 - £14.01 per hour plus Excellent Bupa Benefits.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team of Care Assistants delivering high quality, personal care, while inspiring, developing and nurturing them to be their best every day. We’ll train you on all aspects of our new digital care, transforming how we work to focus on clinical excellence and resident care. We continually train you in clinical and social care developments to support your role.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
  • Issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping
  • Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
  • Training and supervising new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported
  • Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams (GPs, District Nurses)
  • Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • As a Clinical Lead you’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care. We’re happy to support qualification completion if needed.
  • You’re motivated, positive, have great interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a close-knit team. Your clinical expertise supports CQC responsibilities.
  • You have prior experience in the role and knowledge of its rewards and challenges, with a passion for making a real difference to people’s lives through kindness, personalised support and dignity.
