Senior Buyer Frozen Food All retail buying backgrounds considered

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this retail giant in the appointment of a Senior Buyer to bring into their existing trading team. In the role of Senior Buyer you will be accountable for a category that sits within their extensive frozen offering. Working closely with suppliers and the in-house NPD team you will drive the range and offering to ensure our client stays at the forefront of the UK market. To be considered for this role you must come from a retail based buying background, having ideally worked within a supermarkets, convenience or food service based business - however all retail sectors and product backgrounds will be considered on merit. You must have the experience to review suppliers, introduce new sources and negotiate trading terms. Your Buying experience will give you the knowledge to oversee supply, ensure continuity and product availability. A background in a complex, constantly changing food retail environment would be ideal.
