Permanent, Full Time / Part time
We are currently seeking a class 3 Senior Building Control Surveyor to join the team.
You’ll be responsible for enforcing the Building Regulations and allied legislation on a wide variety of projects by both plan checking and inspecting sites.

Reporting into the Building Control Team leaders you’ll spend time carrying out plans examinations and inspecting construction sites, providing technical support to the team and leading on all types of applications.
You will also provide support to the public protection function of the service where required including enforcement and Dangerous structures work. You’ll work closely to the building control management team and support the day-to-day operational needs and delivering on all aspects of the service. You will also work with the team leaders supporting and delivering through the Building Safety regulator as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
You will hold a current validated registration with the Building safety Regulator at Class 3 G/H.
You will hold full corporate membership of a professional body, such as RICS, ABE, CIOB or IFE.
Salary for the role is £51,356 - £54,495 + 15% market supplement, plus circa £3,000 p/a for Dangerous structure rota duty where applicable.
