Overview

This role requires a motivated and ambitious lawyer to work within our client's Banking & Finance team. The role is broad and will include acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending.

The firm is one of the largest law firms in the world and as a consequence the successful applicant will be involved in interacting not just with colleagues in our London based Finance & Restructuring Group, but also global colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work across secured lending: acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending.
• Draft and lead negotiations of cross-border lending and security arrangements, senior facility agreements, senior / junior facility agreements and intercreditor agreements.
• Sleep security granted by / over assets located in a range of jurisdictions and provide general banking & finance advisory work.
• Work across the transaction life-cycle: advise on preliminary agreements (non-disclosure agreements and term sheets), draft and negotiate key deal documents, handle amendments and modifications, refinancings and repayments / prepayments.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have meaningful experience in respect of multiple aspects of secured lending work and be able to operate across the transaction life-cycle as described above.
