A growing national legal team is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Lawyer to join its dynamic practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys handling a wide variety of finance work and wants to develop within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.
The position offers exposure to a broad range of banking and finance matters, including:
You will work on transactions for a diverse client base, including major lenders, specialist finance providers, private equity investors, and corporate borrowers across the UK and internationally.
This role is suitable for a solicitor or associate with 4–7 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) who is qualified to practise in England and Wales.
Advising lenders and borrowers on complex finance arrangements.
Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation, intercreditor arrangements and other finance instruments (including LMA‑style documents).
Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
Collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider commercial and corporate teams.
Actively contributing to business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships.
Strong technical knowledge across banking and finance work.
Confident drafting ability, particularly with facility agreements and finance documents.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
