Salary: £75,000 to £95,000

Chadwick Nott are delighted to be working with a highly respected regional law firm in their search for a Senior Associate to join their successful and friendly Family team in Exeter. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to lead on high-value matrimonial finance matters while contributing to the growth and strategy of a thriving department.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on all aspects of family law, with a focus on high-value matrimonial finance, divorce, and prenuptial agreements
  • Managing a personal caseload independently, maintaining high standards of client care
  • Leading on complex financial remedy cases with strategic, pragmatic advice
  • Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team culture
  • Engaging in networking and business development initiatives
  • Collaborating with marketing and leadership to raise the team's profile
  • Staying up to date with evolving legislation and case law
  • Working cross-departmentally to deliver full-service legal support
  • Contributing to planning, budgeting, and team development
Candidate Requirements
  • 8+ years PQE in family law, ideally with experience in high-value matrimonial finance
  • Strong technical expertise and excellent client-handling skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development
