We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant Accountant to join our Financial Reporting Change team. The Financial Reporting Change team has been recently established to provide subject matter expertise that will drive transformational change to Nationwide's financial reporting and controls.
We have an exciting time ahead and are seeking to grow the team with high calibre individuals. We're looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team to drive impactful change, including any changes required from the integration of the Nationwide and Virgin Money businesses.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a breadth of projects, collaborating with stakeholders from across the organisation to drive improvements and enhance our financial processes and controls, ensuring robust reporting and controls.
The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35.

As a Senior Assistant Accountant, you'll support strategic change projects in delivering accurate and robust financial reporting, with a strong focus on financial accounting mapping, considering the impacts to our reconciliations and controls. You'll help to ensure all change is delivered in a controlled, benefit-focused manner.
You will be studying for an accounting qualification, alongside your day-to-day role.
You will operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
This will also include supporting integration activities between the Virgin Money and Nationwide businesses.
