Job description

Location:

Leeds, GB

Do you find yourself critiquing OOH ads and imagining how you’d do it better?

Are you a creative thinker who loves food, and do you want to thrive in an agency environment that’s entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and part of a global organisation?

As our Senior Art Director, you’ll drive creative excellence for iconic Arla brands, leading concept development from pitch to final production and inspiring a team of passionate creatives

How You Will Make An Impact

Join Arla Foods’ digital in-house agency and shape the future of shopper creative. You’ll lead and motivate the team to deliver compelling campaigns for both global brands like Lurpak, Castello, Arla Protein and strategic UK brands such as Anchor Butter and Arla Cravendale.

  • Transform strategic planning into sharp concepts, campaigns and ideas
  • Drive client presentations and build persuasive arguments for creative solutions
  • Take the lead on creative consistency across brands, always striving for the most intriguing solutions
  • Lead creative workshops, inspiring the team to generate new concepts and ideas
  • Follow creative direction from the studio manager and develop brand/product campaigns, activation ideas and shopper experiences
  • Support and collaborate with creatives and colleagues, delivering campaigns of the highest quality across all touchpoints

This role is part of our in-house creative team, reporting to the Creative Studio Manager.

What Will Make You Successful

You will have proven experience in creative shopper agencies or departments.

Have a strong track record of leading creative development and am highly proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), as well as knowledgeable in Acrobat and interactive PDFs. Your expertise will encompass print processes, typography, space, and layout for both print and digital artwork production, complemented by the ability to communicate and present concepts visually and in writing, adapting effectively to different audiences.

You will possess a solid understanding of shopper marketing and campaign deployment across touchpoints.

You will be a motivator and problem-solver who inspires creative teams and overcomes challenges, a collaborative communicator working effectively with artworkers, account managers, and other colleagues, and you will bring a genuine passion for food.

Within the team, we work closely together and promise a steep learning curve, with colleagues who cheer, support, and challenge one another every day.

What Do We Offer?

  • Competitive salary (discussed at application stage)
  • Flexible hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office
  • Bonus scheme (up to 20%)
  • 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays

  • Strong career development and training (internal & external)
