Job description

Bickerdike Allen Partners LLP are looking for a Senior Architect with excellent construction and detailing skills to join our Architecture Technology team.

We offer an expert consultancy services, providing construction advice at all stages of a project, from inception to post completion reviews. We provide expert witness services in construction, fire spread and professional performance disputes.

We investigate and report on construction related problems and building defects, make recommendations and then provide an architectural package of remedial works.

Our recently refurbished office is based in Queens Park, NW6 with easy access to both the underground and overground train links.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Undertaking site investigations and subsequent preparation of reports on defects found, with recommendations for remedial measures.
  • Preparing detailed working drawings and designs; carrying out site inspections;
  • Keeping up to date with the latest statutory requirements and building regulations;
  • Working within a team as projects require;
Skills & Experience
  • Part III Qualified, ARB registered, Architect with minimum 10 years’ UK experience;
  • Experience of working through a variety of RIBA stages;
  • Able to demonstrate both design and investigation skills along with experience of report writing;
  • Able to demonstrate experience with Contract Administration;
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, design standards and statutory compliances;
Salary & Benefits
  • £57,000 - £65,000subject to experience.
