Senior Architect Job in Soho, London

Senior Architect Job in Soho, step into a pivotal role driving high‑profile commercial office fit‑out projects from within a tier 1 contractor's environment. A rare opportunity to lead technical delivery while acting as the practice's on‑the‑ground representative.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of commercial office fit‑out schemes during RIBA Stages 4‑5.
  • Provide on‑site architectural leadership within the contractor's office.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the contractor team and the practice's studio.
  • Coordinate construction information, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Resolve technical queries efficiently while upholding design intent.
  • Monitor compliance, quality and buildability on site.
  • Manage clear, accurate information flow back to the Reigate team.
  • Build strong working relationships with contractor project managers, package managers and subcontractors.
  • Represent the practice professionally in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Senior‑level architectural experience within commercial office fit‑out projects.
  • Expertise in RIBA Stages 4‑5, including construction‑stage delivery.
  • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge.
  • Strong communication, confident decision‑making and autonomous working ability.
  • Sociable and personable, able to integrate naturally within a tier 1 contractor team.
  • Comfortable in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment with competing demands.
  • Confidence to act as the practice's on‑the‑ground representative.
