Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on Android expert who takes pride in building beautiful, high-quality mobile experiences — and who’s comfortable stepping into iOS when needed.

You’ll take full ownership of our Android app and play a key role in elevating our iOS app. This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s an opportunity to shape the next generation of our mobile product, improve how we build, and bring an AI‑first mindset into everyday engineering.

If you care deeply about polish, performance, and architecture — and you want real ownership in a fast‑moving product team — you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Own

You won’t just “work on tickets.” You’ll be trusted to own the mobile experience end-to-end.

  • Full ownership of our Android app (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)
  • Shipping white‑label Android releases for clients
  • Fixing critical issues and improving overall app stability and performance
  • Building new features with a focus on clean architecture and long‑term maintainability
  • Supporting the iOS team with Swift debugging and UI improvements
  • Partnering closely with design to create smooth, delightful user interactions
  • Raising the quality bar for animation, responsiveness, and user experience across both platforms
  • Making pragmatic architectural decisions to keep the Android codebase healthy and modular
  • Actively exploring and applying AI tools to improve how we design, build, and ship software
  • Shipping frequently, iterating quickly, and sweating the small details users notice
What Makes You a Great Fit

You’re an Android‑leaning engineer who thinks like a product builder.

  • You care about craft, UX, and polish as much as functionality
  • You’re comfortable owning problems end‑to‑end without waiting for direction
  • You enjoy working in fast‑moving environments where things evolve
  • You’re curious about how AI can change the way we build software
  • You’re pragmatic, thoughtful, and opinionated about architecture and quality
Core Skills & Experience
  • Strong Kotlin experience and deep familiarity with Jetpack Compose
  • Working knowledge of Swift and UIKit
  • Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns
  • Experience building modular, testable codebases
  • Comfort with dependency injection patterns
  • Experience integrating APIs (REST, JSON)
  • Confident with Git and collaborative workflows
  • Proven track record of owning and shipping complex Android apps in production
Nice to Have
  • SwiftUI, VIPER, Combine, or RxSwift experience
  • Experience in large, multi‑module projects
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Strong eye for UI, motion, and animation
  • Experience with multi‑tenant or white‑label mobile applications
