Job summary

A local educational authority in South West London is seeking an enthusiastic administrative professional for St Joseph's Catholic Primary School. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of administrative systems and support human resources activities. Qualifications in English or Maths along with NVQ3 or equivalent are essential. This is a term-time position requiring excellent communication and ICT skills in a collaborative environment.

We are a popular primary school in South West London who wish to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is well organised, has initiative and can demonstrate excellent administrative skills. We offer a friendly and supportive environment and excellent professional development opportunities.

Working in the office, you will need to have a positive, friendly and approachable manner, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Good communication skills are essential as is the knowledge of a variety of ICT packages. Knowledge and experience of Arbor management information system would be preferred but is not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Contributing to the planning, development and organisation of administration systems, procedures and policies that facilitate the smooth operation of the school.
  • Analysing and evaluating data and information to produce relevant reports including HR and finance.
  • Achieving value for money when assisting with procurement and sponsorship.
  • Undertake the administration of human resources matters including contracts of employment.
