Job Title: Senior Administrator – Engineering Division

Location: City of London

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to join our Engineering Division in the City of London. This is a people management role, offering the opportunity to lead a team, streamline administrative processes, and support the infrastructure management team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line management of administrative staff, including defining roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives.
  • Validation and assurance of all administrative reports, metrics, and budget reporting.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the infrastructure management team.
  • Manage accurate commercial reporting, accounting, and invoicing.
  • Maintain the Help Desk function as a key supplier interface contact.
  • Collate, manage, and present various performance metrics, including 3rd party KPI and SLA indicators.
  • Function as 3rd party escalation for administrative tasks and ensure commercial compliance.
  • Maintain business continuity plans, statutory property logbooks, and compliance databases.
  • Organise training schedules, CPD sessions, and staff onboarding processes.
  • Support Health & Safety and Well‑being initiatives within the team.
  • Oversee team holidays, expenses, sickness, and shift schedules.
  • Attend meetings to present reports and contribute to decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 2/3 (or transferable) in Business & Administration.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Experience in an engineering administrative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
