Overview

A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be aligned to a portfolio of the Care Group and will provide a senior comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the clinical services. They will undertake day to day supervision of band 2 staff and liaise with the Administration Lead to ensure that high standards of data quality are achieved and maintained as well as ensure Clinical Practitioners are proactively supported with service delivery. The post holder will be an EPR system super user.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services within the Care Group.
  • Communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, service users, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
  • Have an understanding/knowledge and be able to work towards the KPI’s and targets set by the commissioner.
  • Provide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy.
  • Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so whilst working as an effective and responsible senior team member.
  • Update annual leave rota and daily cover rota to ensure there is adequate cover at all times.
Apprenticeship & Qualifications
  • If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
  • As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
  • An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
