Job description
Overview

The post holder will be aligned to a portfolio of the Care Group and will provide senior comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the clinical services. They will undertake day to day supervision of band 2 staff and liaise with the Administration Lead to ensure that high standards of data quality are achieved and maintained, as well as ensure Clinical Practitioners are proactively supported with service delivery. The post holder will be an EPR system super user. If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain the tools needed to thrive, with regular training leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Apprenticeships can help you develop the skills, knowledge and know-how to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services within the Care Group.
  • Communicate effectively, accurately and professionally with discretion and empathy, including written, telephone and face to face contact with patients, service users, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
  • Understand and work towards the KPI's and targets set by the commissioner; provide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients.
  • Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy; maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so while working as an effective and responsible senior team member.
  • Update annual leave rota and daily cover rota to ensure adequate cover at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience and/or qualification to support an EPR system super user role.
  • Desire to undertake a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to the role if not already held.
  • A willingness to complete regular training as part of the apprenticeship and to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
