Overview

Entrepreneurial Senior Accounting Manager, Newcastle

An independent firm is looking for a client-facing and ambitious Senior Accounting Manager looking for a strategic career move in the Newcastle area.

This role will involve:

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Partners to continue growing the Business Services / Outsourcing offering to their client base;
• Winning new business specifically in the Owner Managed Business arena to offer a full Accounting and Outsourcing function to them
• Attending networking events and developing strong business relationships in the local area
• Overseeing the Compliance work and supervision of more junior staff who prepare statutory, and management accounts and offer a full bookkeeping and VAT returns service to the clients
• Manage clients’ ad hoc projects, and systems implementation and attend regular meetings to discuss clients’ accounting (and related) results.

Remuneration and Benefits

Super remuneration package – FG have set the salary at around £56,000 to £65,000 however we welcome a confidential discussion with applicants who may be suitable and more senior than the advertisement.

Location

Location – this Senior Accounting Manager will be based in Newcastle and commutable from Hexham, Morpeth, Darlington, Alnwick, Durham and Teesside.
