A growing firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter is searching for a Senior Accountant leading to Client Manager to join their team where you will take in increasing responsibility managing the delivery of year-end accounts, tax and wider services to varied clients alongside helping develop the team. You will have a clear route to progress within this highly successful and forward-moving firm of accountants.

The firm serves clients across varied industries including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies with turnovers into the millions, with additional larger clients up to and in excess of the audit threshold in turnover. The business also offers a range of professional services, including wealth management, legal services, and other fields, developing strong, long-term and value-added client relationships.

Description

Joining the firm's Exeter offices as Senior Accountant leading to Client Manager, you will take on increasing responsibility for the management and delivery of accounts, tax, and associated services to a portfolio of mixed industry sole trade, partnership, and limited company SMEs, OMBs, and corporate clients typically into the millions in turnover. You will carve a key, influential role here managing the team, and you will also have the opportunity to work with partners on developing and managing the team as well as getting involved in the further growth and development of this office. This key hire comes at a stage of development within the firm’s growth phase that offers the right person a path and route to progress and play a key role in the firm’s further ongoing success and development, with the associated career rewards and progression this presents.

Profile

For this Senior Accountant leading to Client Manager role, you may be AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualified with a career background developed delivering services across any mix of audit, accounts, tax, and wider service delivery to a wide-ranging industry of sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients, developed within a UK accountancy practice firm environment of any size.
