Job description

Terms:Full Time Role
Job Timing:8 AM to 5 Pm
Salary:Competitive

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare informative management accounts that will be delivered in a timely manner on a monthly / quarterly / yearly basis.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure records delivery and accounts information in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring the firm’s practices remain compliant.
  • Management Accounts (P&L, Cash-flow, Balance Sheet).
  • Dealing with clients, HMRC and third parties.
  • Support the CFO and senior managers in robust financial planning and budgeting.
  • Operationally manage the financial processing and management accounting functions within head office.
  • Oversee and manage all finance activities, working with the finance team and CFO on all major transactions.
  • Managing and forecasting cash flows and determining the optimal capital structure.
  • Provide timely and accurate finance and operational reporting and analysis to C-Level.
  • Develop KPIs and measures with a focus on improvement and transparency for business decision making.
  • Building, leading, developing and supporting the finance team ensuring growth in both technical and soft skills.
  • Implementation of financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.
  • Responsible for cash flow, reconciliations, VAT, Tax and invoice activity.
  • Perform the month end management accounts including book keeping, cash recs and supplier recs.
Skills Required:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Have a “can do” attitude and ability to plan work to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Previous experience in either a management accounts role or practice environment.
  • Experience working with foreign currencies.
  • Logical thinker with great problem-solving skills.
  • 5 + years of customer service experience.
  • Good Communication Skills (Written & Oral).
  • MS-Excel / MS-Word.
  • Problem Solving skills.
