Job Description:

Project Location: Heathrow Airport

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the bidding team to set up budgets and cost centers for tenders, review cost allocations, and monitor actuals versus budgets.
  • Coordinate with Ferrovial Construction's Head Office in Spain on bidding matters, reporting, and recharges.
  • Work with Directors to establish and monitor functional budgets, analyze variances, and report in Ferrovial systems.
  • Manage monthly closing, budgeting, reporting, and bank reconciliations for canceled projects.
  • Support Head Office with monthly closing, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary evidence and liaising with auditors.
  • Prepare monthly recharges from Head Office to projects and resolve related queries.
  • Monitor payment performance, prepare reports, and suggest improvements.
  • Handle recharges to other countries and group companies, including processing intercompany invoices and monitoring balances.
  • Support the Finance Team at Head Office with ad hoc tasks such as payment runs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance or Finance Director.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • Experience in the construction industry, especially infrastructure projects, is desirable.
  • Data-driven with strong attention to detail.
  • High accuracy in work.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, independently or in a team.
  • Proactive with problem-solving skills.
  • Confidentiality in handling financial information.
  • IT skills: SAP, Office 365 (advanced Excel skills).
