As a Senior Account Manager you will lead the tactical execution of integrated and digital marketing plans while maintaining a strong understanding of the agency / client relationship. You will be responsible for developing and incorporating strategic planning skills within the broader scope of account management.
As the primary contact for clients and / or agency partners you will oversee the development of campaigns and project plans providing day-to-day support on broader strategic efforts in collaboration with the Account Director.
You will be accountable for identifying and meeting client needs while aligning with internal processes to ensure the successful initiation management and execution of all initiatives. This will include leading client presentations facilitating internal project meetings and actively contributing as part of a highly engaged and large account team.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for strategic projects (ISA) and reporting initiatives (i.e. weekly / monthly dashboards).
- Responsible for the finished product / service from the creation of comprehensive project plans to the process of submissions for regulatory and client reviews.
- Track project budgets regularly and work with AS and AD to manage scope.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills and an awareness and understanding of clients business and strategic objectives.
- In the absence of a Supervisor or Director day-to-day contact for clients and / or agency partners.
- Prepare client proposal decks and quotations.
- Proactively look for business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
- Mentor or manager for junior team members ensuring client submissions are executed flawlessly with implementation of agency best practices. Must adhere to agency policies and required compliance practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong and applied experience in marketing and advertising with expertise in digital and print execution; understands marketing and digital strategy as well as media and technology
- Strong client relations skills with proven customer satisfaction
- Proven ability to manage projects to successful and collaborative completion
- Written Project Briefs aligned with client assignments / expectations
- Able to co-author Creative Briefs and activate internal teams against projects
- Experienced with financials / tracking including estimate reviews project health and revenue tracking
- Presents confidently clearly and effectively
- A team player with strong mentoring skills
- Maintains professionalism and etiquette with remote meetings
- Constantly curious asks why
- Maintains control and composure when delivering under tight deadlines and pressure
- Externally serves as the clients point person for small conflict resolution; internally manages direct conversations with cross-functional team member
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors and / or masters degree ideally in communication / marketing economy biology / pharmacy and / or other scientific pathway
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of related industry experience: client-side brand team consultative advertising agency and / or pharmaceutical experience
