Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your primary role will be to support children and young people with complex needs and mental health difficulties in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one‑on‑one and group support in the classroom.
  • Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Monitoring and recording progress, and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers.

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people with complex needs and mental health difficulties.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students.
