Are you a SEND teacher who wants a role that genuinely matters

We are working with a highly respected specialist primary provision within East London seeking a passionate emotionally available SEND Teacher to join their team from January on a full time maternity cover basis.

This is a beautifully purposeful role leading a Year 5 to 6 class of pupils with communication and sensory needs learning through an informal interaction based curriculum tailored to meet each child where they are. The focus is on connection first language development regulation and functional learning in a setting where patience creativity and compassion are celebrated daily.

The Role

You will take full classroom responsibility for a small highly supported group of pupils who experience communication needs including non verbal or emerging language and sensory processing differences and who thrive through consistent routines emotional regulation strategies and personalised learning.

The curriculum is bespoke and child led rather than outcome pressured allowing you to teach in the way SEND educators wish mainstream systems allowed more often.

You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and highly skilled support staff who genuinely understand SEND and value teacher wellbeing.
