SEND Primary Teacher Specialist School

Location - Winchester

Pay - £160 £250 per day

Contact times- Full-time (08 30)

Are you a passionate teacher with experience supporting neurodiverse and children with physical barriers to learning? Do you thrive on making a meaningful difference and helping pupils achieve both academically and socially? If so, this could be the role for you.

Supply Desk are seeking a SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in the Winchester area. The school is well respected within the area for supporting children with a range of needs through creative and engaging tasks that are specifically tailored to ensure pupils success.

The Role
  • Teach a small class of children with additional learning and physical needs (approx. 8 pupils).
  • Deliver Maths, English, Phonics, alongside social and life skills.
  • Support pupils in achieving personalised SEMH and academic targets.
  • Full-time position, with the option of a permanent contract.
  • Job share (3 4 days per week) will be considered.
Candidate Profile
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required.
  • Previous experience in SEND (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Confident in behaviour and classroom management.
  • Resilient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Experience in targeted interventions (preferred).
