Overview

SEND HLTA – Adjusted Provision Lead – Maternity Cover

8.15am to 4.15 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:15am to 3:45pm on Fridays (with half an hour unpaid break), term time only plus Teacher Training Days

Grade 4 – £25,989 FTE - Pro Rata to days and hours worked - £21,333

Maternity Cover - FTC from November 2025 to 23 October 2026. Required to start: November 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND HLTA to join our fantastic school leading our Adjusted Provision (Wings) as part of our excellent SEND Team. The successful candidate will be highly passionate about SEND and dedicated to ensuring that children are safe, happy and thriving. They will ensure that children make positive steps of progress and improve outcomes through high quality SEND provision. They will be organised, resilient, able to use their initiative, and confident working independently but also able to work effectively as part of a team. The core focus is to lead our Adjusted Provision, supporting children identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities with an EHCP, including delivery of high quality teaching and provision, effective use of resources, and ensuring high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. The successful candidate will be supported by our Assistant Headteacher/SENDCo and our senior leadership team who will invest time to help you in your new role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Adjusted Provision (Wings) and deliver high quality teaching and provision for SEND pupils with an EHCP.

  • Collaborate with the SEND team and senior leaders to monitor progress and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
