Overview

Axcis Education is looking for an English teacher to work in an independent special school in the Torbay area. The teaching position is to start in January, or, as soon as possible. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing English lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils with a wide range of special needs. This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday. The salary range for this position is between £30,057-£38,450, depending on your previous teaching and SEND experience. The special school has very small class/group sizes of two to six students. This allows teaching staff to build fantastic relationships with pupils and assess, monitor and facilitate good levels of progress. The school has an exciting and engaging curriculum which is certainly worth a visit to see.
