Overview

Our Kiddi Caru Nursery in Great Park Road, Bristol, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a part-time SEND Nursery Practitioner who is responsible for supporting, assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs. This is a 1-1 SEND Support role.

Part Time (16 hours).

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
  • Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
