This primary school is based within walking distance of two local tube stations in Redbridge, London and is also very accessible via bus and car.

Qualifications

For these SEN Teaching Assistant positions, the school are seeking 2 SEN Teaching Assistants who either have experience working with children with SEN as well as recent graduates in Education or Psychology/ Criminology or an SEN related degree who want to work with special educational needs.

The students in this mainstream primary school have a variety of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties, so if you have experience of working 1‑2‑1 with SEN or have a passion and desire to supporting children with additional needs then these could be the roles for you.

Responsibilities

You will be supporting your dedicated child in the classroom, helping the class teacher within the class. Your main role will be to build a rapport with your allocated child and help them feel confident in and out of the classroom and help to receive the best possible education.
