Do you want to play a pivotal role in supporting a child with autism to access learning and thrive in school?

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Enfield, working closely with a child in KS2 on a 1:1 basis. This is a role where patience, empathy, and creativity will make a lasting difference.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personalised support during lessons, transitions, and playtimes.
  • Helping the child regulate emotions and build positive relationships with peers.
  • Assisting with sensory activities and structured routines.
  • Working in close partnership with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals.
  • Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, however small.
