A rural primary school is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) while also working as a lunchbreak supervisor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, excellent communication skills, and flexible adaptability to changing situations. Pucklechurch Primary is a wonderful village school between Bristol and Bath. The governors are looking to appoint a dynamic teaching assistant to work flexibly to support a child with an EHCP.
This role is in conjunction with a lunchbreak supervisor commitment. All TA’s within the team work on this model which contributes hugely to the strong team ethos of the adults and the successful lunchtimes for pupils.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two excellent references will be required prior to agreeing appointment.
