Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEN? Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEN Secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team from the 5thJanuary.

This is a specialist secondary school for students with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD and social and emotional mental health challenges.

About the role:

• Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support to individual students and small groups.
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing their independence, confidence, and social skills.
• Support pupils with personal care needs, where required.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

• Has experience working with young people with SEN (in any environment).
• Can communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
• Must complete safeguarding upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
