Job Title: SEND Teacher

Area: Rochdale, Manchester

Start Date: ASAP / September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

About the role
  • Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils primarily across KS2 and KS3
  • Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff and parents/carers to provide a consistent and holistic approach
What we\'re looking for
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
  • Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child\'s progress
To be eligible you must
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references

This is a full-time position starting in September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate). ECTs and experienced SEN teachers are welcome to apply.
