A caring, inclusive, and child-focused school in the Hollywater area of Bordon is looking to appoint a Class Teacher to lead a small class of pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and attachment-related needs.
The school supports children with complex learning profiles, including significant cognitive delay, communication needs, autism, sensory processing differences, and social, emotional, and attachment challenges. Pupils learn within a highly structured and nurturing environment where strong relationships, consistency, and emotional security underpin all aspects of teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a small class of pupils who need high levels of support, structure, and emotional regulation throughout the school day. Teaching is highly personalised and focuses on communication, life skills, emotional development, and learning appropriate to each child’s developmental stage.
This role would suit a thoughtful and patient teacher who values relationship-based and trauma-informed practice.
