Are you a compassionate, adaptable individual with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs? We're looking for dedicated SEN Support Workers to work across a range of specialist schools in the Bath area, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD, Autism (ASC), communication needs, physical disabilities, and SEMH.

About the Role

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups across a range of SEN settings, depending on each school's needs.
• Assist with sensory activities, communication support (including visuals or AAC), personal care, or mobility where required.
• Help pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning through positive, proactive support.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to meet individual education and care plans.
• Travel between local Bath SEN schools when needed (mileage arrangements can be discussed).

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, particularly complex needs such as PMLD, ASC, or physical/medical needs.
• A patient, calm, and adaptable approach suited to different environments and pupil needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to drive with regular access to your own car (essential due to varied school locations).
• Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
