Job Title: SEN Superstars Wanted! - Primary Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours: Full-time

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chelmsford is looking for enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2025.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives?

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language, SEMH).
  • Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help children develop social and emotional skills.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Support children both in and out of the classroom, encouraging independence and self-esteem.

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school, childcare, or care settings).
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to different children’s needs.
