A leading education service provider in the UK is seeking passionate individuals to work in SEN schools. You'll be supporting children with special needs without the necessity of a teaching degree. The role emphasizes empathy and personal skills rather than formal qualifications. Training is provided to ensure you are prepared to make a significant impact. Apply now to become a crucial part of a supportive environment.
If you’ve ever thought working in a school meant you needed a teaching degree, here’s the good news, you don’t.
SEN schools are full of incredible people from all backgrounds. From behaviour mentors to learning support assistants, sensory specialists to classroom guides, there are so many ways to make a real difference to children who need calm, patient and consistent adults around them. Your experience, empathy and people skills matter far more than a stack of certificates.
At Protocol Education, we match brilliant humans with SEN roles where they can genuinely shine. You might be supporting a pupil one-to-one, helping a class stay settled through sensory activities, or guiding young people through their daily routines. Whatever the role, you’ll be part of something that really counts.
We’ll give you the tools and confidence you need before you step into the classroom.
It’s all online, flexible, and built to help you feel prepared from day one.
You don’t need teaching experience. You don’t need a degree. You just need the right mindset, a caring approach and a willingness to learn. We’ll support you with everything else.
We partner with SEN schools across Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, North East Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Not in one of these areas? Apply anyway, there’ll be a school nearby that needs someone just like you.
We’re proud holders of the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award 2022, REC Audited, Investors in People, and CPD Members. More importantly, we’re known for being human, supportive and genuinely invested in the people we work with.
