Job summary

A local educational organisation in Grays is seeking an Outreach Tutor to provide high-quality, personalised tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs. This role includes creating individualized learning plans and collaborating with teachers and parents to track progress. Ideal candidates will have experience with SEN and strong communication skills. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. The position offers a full-time contract with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs in an outreach or tutoring capacity.
• Knowledge of different SEN categories like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised tutoring to students with SEN both in schools and at home.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
• Work with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to track student progress.
